Cities have adopted the 2017 National Electric Code. That includes Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Cabot, Benton, Bryant, Conway, etc. Fortunately, there hasn’t been much that has changed. Adding or changing receptacles still are required to be protected by an arc fault. You can find out more information on those here. That includes ALL areas of your home except the bathrooms. Most receptacles in the kitchen are required to also be GFCI protected. Again, this all about safety for you and your family. Check out our website for more information.
